Winners of #YoungFilmCampaign

The films will be screening at kimff Festival from April 29th to June 2nd, 2024 along with 7 other films.

The musical heritage of Nepal Legend says, even Indra- the king of heaven cannot resist the wonderful voice of gandarwas who are known as entertainers of heaven. We are trying to put a spotlight on this overlooked population by working together to promote their art as well as highlight various issues they have to encounter.

The film revolves around a watermill near the Kathmandu Valley, showcasing its continued relevance in the modern world. It delves into the challenges faced by the watermill and explores the strategies being employed to address them.

“Jhigu kipu” , a short documentary presented with a major aspect is preserving and sharing the rich cultural heritage of diverse religious practices which is very crucial for young people to get involved heritage-related activities, we can instill a sense of pride and responsibility in future generations. we have included our pride which is our religious temples, jatras, cultural dances and music and newari cuisine.
