In the Northwest province of the Argentine Republic, Jujuy, Jose Antonio is the teacher of the only school in a remote mountain village occupied by people of the same ethnos. The teacher observes the migration of the local populace to the other regions in search of work. Their ethnos is disappearing, the lands of their ancestors have other owners. The teacher's vision-to educate the local children and to help in the development of their community-is dissolving, before the government comes to the rescue.
