Kimff has formed a partnership with the KEEP(Kathmandu Environmental Education Project) with the aim of reaching out to the more remote middle hill regions of Nepal. KEEP delivers Porter Awareness and Welfare programs, among other activities, to the grass-root professionals who work within the Nepal trekking industry. These community members are often geographically, educationally, generic drugs, financially and socially excluded from main stream society in Nepal.
Through this partnership Kimff aims to provide relevant films that can be shown to these communities as part of the KEEP program. The screening venues are always situated in the outdoors and thus accessible to all on an equal opportunities basis and the films, of a fairly short duration are all Nepali made and produced and cover topics of an environmental and educational nature. This program was conducted in Machhakola 78 kms driving off black-top roads from Gorkha.
