Your vision and talent needed for Kimff 2021.

Kathmandu International Mountain Festival (kimff) is an acclaimed annual film festival that serves as a platform for broadening awareness about mountain issues and educating the Nepali audience about life in mountain societies around the world. The dates for kimff 2021 are 9-13 December.

 

At kimff 2021, we will spotlight climate change and its impact locally and globally by featuring local and international films about the growing impact of climate change on people around the world and on the environment.

Our festival tagline Climate Karma reflects the complex and interdependence of the global community and our shared future. We invite you to join our efforts for a call to action by designing a creative and original poster for kimff 2021 that reflects our focus on climate change.

Checklist for poster design:

 

  • The poster size is 16*23 inch (16 width/ 23 Length).

  • The poster artwork/ design should include kimff 2021 as the headline.

  • The poster artwork/ design should also include kimff 2021 tagline Climate Karma.

  • The poster/ artwork should be available in design/format which can be adapted and used in kimff 2021 promotional materials.

  • For reference previous editions of kimff posters can be accessed at https://kimff.org/kimff-festivals/

  • The top 10 designs selected by a jury comprising kimff team and independent artists will be exhibited during kimff 2021 and on kimff digital platforms.

  • The prize money Rs. 50,000 is taxable according to Government of Nepal regulations.

  • Poster artwork/ design submission deadline is 30 September 2021.
